Should I lease my car?

The concept of a car lease can sound very appealing but many people wonder about the strings that may be attached.  Some people are very much in favour of a car lease while others would never even consider it.  So is there anything wrong with leasing a car?

Deciding whether to lease a car is truly a personal decision.  Several factors should be considered before making the decision to sign a lease.  There are plenty of upsides to a car lease but it is necessary to consider the negative factors first.

One of the biggest incentives for people to lease a car is a lower monthly payment.  This enables a person to lease a car that might be too expensive for them to outright purchase.  If you absolutely have your heart set on a particular car but you know you can’t afford it, consider leasing it instead.

If you find that after a few years you get bored with your car, leasing can be a great option.  Most car leases only last a few years which means you will be able to swap cars on a regular basis.

Anyone considering a lease should analyze their driving trends.  If you drive more than 15,000 miles a year, leasing can be a poor option.  Depending on your lease, you may incur a variety of fees for each mile over the 15,000 mile threshold that you drive.

Many people may find that they want to customize their vehicle.  If this is something that you have considered, you probably want to purchase your car instead.

Toyota IQ 3 Review

Car manufacturers have been following a necessary trend lately. Most car companies are now building cars that are much more compact and more environmentally friendly. With the world’s problems in traffic and the ongoing plight of our environment, car manufacturers have chosen wisely to build cars that are smaller and use less fuel. There is no other car that lives up to these criteria more completely than the Toyota IQ 3.

This is a small vehicle with a 1.33l Dual VVT-i engine that uses the Toyota Optimal Drive (aka: stop-start technology), which can save fuel up to three per cent. The Toyota IQ 3’s new engine can push out 98-hp with a maximum torque of 92 lb/ft, and the new Stop & Start System averages 58.9 mpg for the customer. In the multi-drive automatic model, the car usually averages a fuel economy of 55.4 mpg.

Although it is small, the Toyota IQ 3 has enough space to fit in three adults and some luggage. There is enough legroom for the passengers so that they will not feel cramped, and there is enough space for small amounts of luggage.  Other desirable features of this car are the leather seats and efficient satellite navigation. Toyota came out with the Toyota IQ 3 with only one colour option, white, but they have now decided to produce cars with more than one colour choice following customer demand.

The manufacturers of the Toyota IQ 3 recently released this car’s price tag. The hybrid vehicle has a starting price of £11,495 for the manual model, while the automatic model has a price tag of £12,495.

Driving Your Own Saab through Leasing

Car leasing is the most practical and definitely the easiest way of having a car without spending too much money on it. It is usually offered by various car dealers as an option instead of purchasing a new vehicle. However, leasing is only allowed for a fixed and definite period of time. After the lease expires, the lessee must return the leased vehicle back to the dealer, or if he chooses to, he can buy the car. One particular brand offered for lease is the Saab Car, manufactured by Saab Automobile AB, a Swedish car manufacturer and a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Motors.

There are a lot of Saab car models to choose from. Among the top Saab models is the Saab 9-3 Saloon, where customers can select from 15 different engines in the range. These engines are powerful and are very capable of long drives. The Saab 9-3 Saloon provides customers with a smooth driving experience on any road surface. Another popular Saab model is the Saab 9-3 SportWagon, with features similar to the 9-3 Saloon but offering a choice of 12 engines. Another obvious difference of this model is its storage area that can expand up to 1273 litres. Its rear seat can be folded down to give more space inside the car.

Various Saab Car dealers have a wide selection of leasing offered for their customers. YourFleet, one of the many Saab dealers, provides some of the best deals for Saab vehicle leasing with their special offers.  Offers for the month of April 2009 included the Saab 9-3 SportWagon, which was offered for a monthly price of £219 on a 36-month contract; Saab 9-3 Saloon, for £209, also on a 36-month contract; and the Saab 9-3 Convertible for £225 on a 27-month contract.

Honda Fit – the newest hatchback in the range!

No other car in the sub-compact category made as much impact as the Honda Fit. Despite the Honda Fit’s two flaws – a hefty price tag and no stability control option for the base trim – people still want this car.

The Honda Fit is one of the most-loved cars amongst fans of fuel-efficient motor vehicles.  It ranked one out of 33 affordable sub-compact cars with regard to reliability and safety, and despite its high price, customers are still vying to purchase this car.

The Honda Fit is a sub-compact car with five doors that is stylishly sporty and great fun to drive. It only looks small from the outside, but it can be very deceiving because of its spacious interior. Although it is a hatchback, the curves of this car make it look more aerodynamic than its predecessors. Honda designed this vehicle with a ‘super-forward aero-form design’ and a two-inch-longer wheelbase, plus a wider track as well as a windshield that has been moved five inches to the front for improved visibility and for more room.

The 2009 model includes superior interior functionality, such as one-motion folding rear seats; improved steering, suspension, and body rigidity for sportier driving; Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure for more safety efficiency; and a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. This model also features a one-motion fold-down function for the rear seats, which means that the front seats do not have to be adjusted to fold the rear seats. Also, the headrests at the back do not have to be removed whilst folding them down. The Honda Fit was already popular in Japan and Europe, as was the Honda Jazz, when it first invaded the US market in 2006.

Vehicle Contract Hire and its Advantages

As the world continues to seek the most efficient way of handling different transactions, people have become more and more confused about determining the best schemes available. Thankfully, vehicle leasing has been conceptualised, minimising the pitfalls of purchasing. With this, contract leasing companies have surfaced to meet the ever growing demand of clients. Leasing has so many forms, but the most common type of leasing nowadays is probably vehicle leasing.

Vehicle leasing or vehicle contract hiring can be described as a means of acquiring the rights to use a certain vehicle, limited within the agreed time duration. Here, the scheme offers convenience, accessibility, and versatility, which are the most desired aspects in today’s world. As the economic crisis worsens, vehicle contract hire schemes are growing. One benefit of the scheme is that it eliminates the hassles of periodic car-purchase instalments, making lessees free from those buying pressures. Of course, to all people who really get into cars, it is only by this means that a lessee can change cars pretty frequently. How cool to trade your Alfa Romeo for a Porsche or Jaguar.

As transactions become more streamlined, vehicle contract hire schemes remain solid as companies and clients keep leasing demand growing. Though the advantages of this scheme seem convincing, potential vehicle lessees must be aware of some of its disadvantages. Properly matching one’s financial capability might be the safest way for car dreamers to engage in a vehicle leasing scheme. With all the facts on hand, it is now up to the potential car lessee to see if a vehicle contract hire scheme is good for them.

Chrysler Leasing – making luxury affordable!

Chrysler Finance has designed different financial schemes to meet the needs of drivers. The company can offer the best possible solution for you to have a new or used car. It offers two options to choose from if you prefer to lease a car: Operating Lease and Finance Lease.

If you choose an Operating Lease, your car will be leased to you for a specified period. The monthly payments will be computed based on the difference of the actual value of the car and its residual value; and finance charges are also included. At the end of your lease period, the car is returned to the company and will leave you free from further obligations. Choosing this option will eliminate capital expense with the use of the vehicle; improve cash flow due to fixed and reduced monthly rentals; and monthly rentals are allowable against taxable profits.

If you prefer a Finance Lease, your car will be leased to you for a specified period, as well. After you pay the final monthly payment, the car may be sold to a third party. The monthly payments are inclusive of VAT, which can be recovered if you’re VAT registered. There are three options offered to you after the lease agreement period: (1) Extend the use of your car for 12 months; however, this option may be exercised only once. (2) Sell the car to a third party for a reasonable market price and 95% of the total sale price will be given to you. (3) Return the car to Chrysler and they will sell it. You’ll get 95% of the sale price; however, collection and auction fees will be deducted.

Leasing a Chrysler car allows you to make low monthly payments and gives you a chance to get your money back after you sell your leased car.

The New Mazda 3 – Dynamic and exhilarating

Sequels have a knack of turning sour, but this cannot be said of the new 2010 Mazda 3. The first and original Mazda 3 was a great success in terms of critical praise and sales worldwide, and this sentiment grew firmer as time passed. That being the case, many feared that the new Mazda 3 might not live up to its predecessor’s achievements. Fortunately, it lives up to the hype and much more.

Similar to its elder brother, the 2010 Mazda 3 is a delight to drive. The underlying and basic platform is mostly unaltered, but this new Mazda 3 utilises high-fibre steel plus a retuned suspension. This match-up provides the new Mazda 3 with better body control without any added handling and ride stiffness. The steering remains very responsive, and the vibration leading to the driver’s hands has been decreased as well. Consequently, the new Mazda 3 is a polished and refined version of what was already a very impressive car.

The 2.0 litre four-cylinder engine remains under the 2010 Mazda 3’s hood, thus giving the same power as its predecessor. However, the Mazda 3 is equipped with the new MZR 2.0 DISI (Direct Injection Spark Ignition) engine with the ‘i-stop’ system and the new automatic five-speed transmission, which are able to achieve a fuel economy which is around 12% lower than the current European Mazda 3. It now can compete with the Toyota Corolla or the Honda Civic in terms of fuel efficiency.

The design and styling present the biggest changes to the 2010 Mazda 3. It boasts an all-new exterior that augments aerodynamics for more gas mileage and less wind noise. Its impressive interior can easily be mistaken as part of an entry-level luxury car.

With its superb performance and handling, grand interior, and practical innovative features, the 2010 Mazda 3 will surely impress just about anyone.

Leasing a Vauxhall Zafira

Car leasing is popular as an alternative to car purchasing. It is recognised as an easy way to have a car for personal or business purposes without spending lots of money. Though vehicle leasing is for only a short period of time, some people consider this as far more convenient than car purchasing.

There are different brands of cars offered on the market, such as Vauxhall cars, which are built by a British-based company, Vauxhall Motors. Vauxhall car leasing is devoted to providing reliable, flexible, safe, and well performing cars and will suit individual needs as well as budgets. There are different Vauxhall cars and even vans available for lease. One example is the Vauxhall Zafira. The Zafira is one of the most popular cars in the U.K.; in fact, it was the 10th best selling car in the U.K. in the year 2006. The car was first introduced in 1999, and in 2005, its second generation version appeared.

The Vauxhall Zafira has seven seats and has a fast and powerful 1.9 Cdti engine. It has a spacious and comfortable interior and 40/20/40 split-folding second-row seats. Furthermore, this car has a pedal release, an EBD, automobile brake technology, and Cornering Brake Control or CBC. Drivers will feel comfortable in the Vauxhall Zafira because of its adjustable steering wheel. Its adjustment setting ensures comfort and driving delight for its driver. Some of its technology, particularly the platform and mechanics, is taken from the reliable and popular Astra. This ensures a state-of-the-art driving experience.

In every car lease agreement, a partial payment is given and monthly payments follow. In the Vauxhall leasing scheme for the Zafira car, there are monthly payment options given which may range from £189-£268. The payment rate depends on whether the car is for personal or business use.
